I used poly L-lysine coated slides for mounted tissue section in IHC. After mounting, slides were dried on hot plate with 40OC overnight and kept them in slide warmer 37OC for two days. However, some sections were detached from slides after antigen retrieval step (slides soaked in citrate buffer and boiled using microwave). How to solve that problem? Are there a specific coated slide for use in antigen retrieval step?

Change the Poly-L-lysine solution or keep for longer time. I am using this protocol (attached)

I would recommand "super frost plus slides", especially when you are using thicker sections (
