Despite ideologies of the political parties are great and encourage fair practices for the benefits of the citizens of countries, it is found that in historical times the politicians have been corrupt, indulging in foul practices. Even if they are not too corrupt personally, they do not activate the government machinery against unfair practices of the rich and powerful. More often than not, the powerful leaders of the world do not care for their suffering brethren across the globe. This is why we have had two world wars and the world has been divided into power blocks. If the world leaders could be unanimous in doing away with wars, the defence expenditures incurred globally could see a happy humanity in less than a year.
Politics is for the people & the main end is to serve the people by planing the policy for the welfare of the citizen & the entire community connected their with. The purpose of politics is to come forward by planning the policy to be undertaken for the people if they come on power.
Very often it has been observed that when they come on the power ,they move on the ivory towers forgetting the basic fact for which they have been chosen for their welfare of the citizens.
It is in this line it has been likely said that Power corrupt power & Absolute power corrupts absolutely.
Ethics is very much far away from the political code & the value .Ethics is for moral code ,conduct ,character ,behavior,& in the personal action truthfulness is the basis where we can rightly said that Honest is best policy .
