I am interested to check fluoride levels in hyper-accumulator plant tissues!
Senna tora (Fabaceae)
Holoptelea integrifolia (Ulmaceae)
Eriophorum comosum (Cyperaceae)
Pupalia lappacea (Amaranthaceae)
The grass Cenchrus ciliaris (Poaceae) is also a natural survivor at fluoride contaminated sites.
Hyperaccumulators of fluoride:
aquatic floating macrophytes could remove fluoride : Pistia stratiotes, Eichhornia crassipes, Spirodela polyrhiza
submerged plants species : Ceratophyllum demersum, Hydrilla verticillata, Potamogeton malaianus, Myriophyllum verticillatum and Elodea nuttallii
Orchard grass, alfalfa, Portulaca grandiflora, Brassica oleracea, Eurya emarginata, Psychotria jasminflora,Camellia japonica, Pittosporum tobira, Saccharum officinarum
Tree species: A. tortilis, P. juliflora and C. fistula ....etc
