Please, I am currently working a researching using Machine Learning Techniques in detecting defects or anomaly in Additive Manufacturing/3D printing technology. Log files/data were collected through Project 3500 AM machine. I need a suitable machine learning algorithm open source code either in MATLAB or Python, but I would prefer it in Python. Does any which to share Machine Learning Algorithm suitable for this type of study. I will appreciate it. Thanks

I have a log file generated from Additive Manufacturing/3D printing machine. I would like to ask "do I need to extract the important features from the log file or I can apply Machine learning algorithm to it directly without extracting the features" . what make me confused is the fact that the log file is like unstructure data type.
You probably need to use feature extractors from Natural language processing such as 'bag of words' to identify typical error messages. please,check in the relevant literature.
