I HAVE MY PROPOSAL TITLE(The replacement of wast glass as fine aggregates in concrete mixtures)

BUT MY supervisor told me where is your GAP

so I STARTED TO DOWNLOAD ALL PAPERS RELATED TO MY TITLE

and I FOUND some differences in size particles and proportions and W/C ratio OF WASTE GLASS TO BE REPLACED

but still DR .HASAN

I DID NOT FIND THE GAP

To determine your gap it is necessary to review the articles published related to utilisation of glass in concrete. from that , you will come to a conclusion where scholars havent yet discussed and what are the practical benefits and social impact in concrete environment

The main gap is that glass does not absorb water which is required for sticking with cement and other gradient, it will not perform as a positive additive for replacement of sand.

Course & fine aggregate in concrete are basically "filler" to bulk up the concrete body. For that reason using any inert filler should not e a problem, provided that the filler is indeed inert and does not detrimintally affect either the fresh characteristics of the concrete,eg significant increase in water requirement, and in the solid state by chemical destailization of the concrete. The concern about possible alkali-silica reactivity of the material should be investigated thoroughly.
