Pilot testing in PLS-SEM, SMART PLS 4 ?

How can we conduct pilot testing in PLS-SEM in SMART PLS 4? Do we have to assess the measurement model on about 50 respondents and check its validity and reliability? Any references, please?

No reference but certainly feasible. That's what we always do in studies to check if signs etc. are as expected.
