- Overview: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and talented PhD candidate to join our dynamic research team at the prestigious China Beacons Institute, located at the University of Nottingham Ningbo (QS Ranking 109). This position offers an exceptional opportunity to engage in cutting-edge research in the field of battery science, focusing on Li-ion and Zinc-ion Batteries. The ideal candidate should possess strong academic credentials and relevant research experience in the area of battery technology.
- Position Details:
- Requirements: Education: Applicants must hold a MS/M.Phil. degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics or a closely related field. A minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0 is required.
- Experience: Prior experience in battery research is mandatory, with a demonstrable record of scholarly contributions through at least one published paper within the field of battery technology.
- Language Proficiency: IELTS 6.5 or above, however few partner universities are exempted from this requirement.
- Program Duration: 3-4 years.
- Stipend: 3500 RMB/month with medical insurance and free accommodation
