To make drug-nanoparticle complex coated by chitosan, I want to know that coating solution pH is important factor.
To dissolve chitosan, i used 1% acetic acid (approximately pH 3) where drug-nanoparticle complex showed positive zeta potential(+30mV).
I'm wondering it is possible.
Drug-nanoparticle complex suspension in D.W showed negative zeta potential(-20mV) dropwise into 1% chitosan solution showed positive zeta potential(+80mV).
Then complex can be coated chitosan?

we have used chitosan and nano chitosan for treatment of wood and pH is important this filed. also, i have studied paper about synthesis of nano chitosan. in all of them pH of nano chitosan was 4-5. i hope to help you.
