Is Peer Mentoring for Research in Medical School a thing? Are there any formal or semi-formal peer mentoring groups/programs for research?
I am a 4th Year Medical Student at the Aga Khan University Hospital, Pakistan, and am thinking of beginning a peer mentoring program for research. Would be great to talk to anyone who's been involved in a similar initiative, to discuss challenges and how to overcome them.

Russell peer mentoring has been successfully used both formally and informally in a range of scientific disciplines at undergraduate, postgraduate and even post doctoral levels as a way to effectively nurture, develop and retain talent. Examples abound in the literature on coaching and mentoring in particular and Human Resources management and development more broadly. Interesting.
