Hello everyone
Recently I've obtained some whole cell patch-clamp electrophysiological recordings from pyramidal neurons in brain slices, the type of the recording is action potential recording, obtained using Current clamp. The used protocol for the recording was Episodic stimulation acquiztion mode, each recording contains 30 sweeps, each sweep the stimulation increases by 50pA from the previous step, and the used stimulation for the whole recording starts from 50pA to 1500pA.
Any ideas or suggestions on how can I analyze these recordings including spikes, RMP, Frequencies, Amplitudes ...etc
A step by step guide book for this kind of analysis would be really appreciated.

Try IgorPro from WaveMetrics, it has great resources for analyzing ephys data. Also comes with great documentation.

You can analyze at the outset the membrane properties;
membrane potential, capacitance, input resistance etc
than from the first firigin action potential,
the treshold, spike half-width, Adapt. Coeff. spike frequency vs injected current,
Also you can obtain dVm/dT vs Vm curve.
