What are the challenges that you faced in moving towards e-learning as well as blended learning ? After the Corona pandemic hit all educational institutions in the world, What are your suggestions if the pandemic continues?
eLearning’s time and place flexibility attracts more and more students to online education. However, many of them encounter serious challenges that prevent them from completing their courses successfully. Here are the 5 most common problems faced by students in eLearning and some suggestions on how to overcome them.

#1 Online Learning Challenges – Engaging students As students are moving towards online learning from traditional classrooms, it becomes difficult for teachers to adjust to a new learning platform. Teaching online may not influence and engage students for longer periods of time.
10 Online Learning Challenges & How to Overcome These Problems
Blended Learning provides a host of opportunities for students as emphasised above; yet we must throw light on the challenges and difficulties faced by students in this model. Importance of Physical Learning – One should keep in mind that what works for in-person training may not necessarily be ideal for online training.

Adaptation without progression. I supose its abrupt. Take care and be careful. Try to "exagerate any medical measures".Don't just stick to the minimum.
I did e-learning & blended learning " at 2 campuses of my last university" in 2001-2002. The students ,then, were active & cooperative and the processes ended with huge success proved by what those students reached after graduation. When the direct learning process switched to these 2 types starting with e-learning at the end of March 2020 due to Corona, there was immense hardship for me since the students were less active & less cooperative, in general. Add to it that they were weaker "scientifically & linguistically" than their predecessors. That was an enormous challenge for me, taking into account that I became an older man. Persistence, by me, required preparation of easy to send Win Word detailed texts in English & translating them to our language plus sending images , videos, and references to students. For each one hour contact with the on-line "attending" students, I needed 3 hours of preparation plus an additional hour to answer the questions of the "available" students. I suggested 2-3 hours of face-to-face ending meetings with the students of each course in big theaters "for health precautions" to review the e-learnt subjects with the students but my suggestion was ignored.
I did my best but I honestly think that the outcome of that final semester, in my career as retired part-timer, was "good" but not "excellent" as I wished for since I discovered cheating by some students & even some of them wanted to set the rules of the game- such as extending the time of an online quiz or exam which allows easy cheating !- and they found those who listened to them, unfortunately.
One of the short-term impacts that is recorded in the case of students is the reorganization of their daily lives to adjust to a situation of confinement. Inevitably, the loss of social contact and socializing routines that are part of a college student's everyday experience will come at a cost.
The central consequence of isolation is the substitution of face-to-face classes and the need for students to adapt to new forms of teaching and learning under a virtual modality. In this sense, a large part of the students have not received this change in a very positive way. Partly because the content offered was never designed within the framework of a distance higher education course, but rather tries to alleviate the absence of face-to-face classes with virtual classes without further preparation.
In addition, distance education requires greater discipline and commitment on the part of the student, which perhaps explains that it is more successful among older students, that is, graduate students.
Students from vulnerable areas are the most affected since the change of modality requires Internet connectivity and in many cases they do not have access to this service.

Online learning requires preliminary planning and organization; the pandemia did not give us the time and traditional institutions did not have the necessary resources to support the move from traditional to online in an extremely short period of time. We saw a high level of stress from the professoriate and students as well. Despite the inconvenience, we also see the reliance in our Academic Community by showing innovation and creativity in the new Learning Environment impose by the pandemia.
In Ghana, COVID 19 has really put our education system at a fix. Now Universities and Colleges are struggling to fully integrate technology (LMS) into teaching and learning process. These institutions are doing their best in that sense but both tutors/lecturers and students have no other choice than to blend face to face with online learning. Though COVID 19 has done great damage to education, it has however pave the way for educational institutions to bridge the gap between education and technology.
Regarding the challenges of continuing the corona epidemic, it can be said that there are different solutions, some of which will be mentioned if the corona pandemic continues:
1- In the near future, it is possible to apply a combined approach to the existing education system.
2- In the combined approach, which refers to the two dimensions of distance education and face-to-face education, it is necessary to use educational technologies and experienced professors and new technology and facilities in both fields.
3- It is necessary to use experienced professors in both of the above fields.
4- Using trained personnel both in teaching and in support (experienced educational experts) is a must.
5- It is necessary to hold a course of health education and corona pandemic prevention for learners and students.
6- Dividing face-to-face classes into smaller groups and maximizing the use of time during one day ...
7- Observing health protocols during face-to-face training.
I am ready to serve at your university as an education expert.
I agree with Bazar Dzhumaevich Ulugov and Mauricio Rivera-Quijano this virtual environment threw us in the deep end but we swam to shore. We need to continually upgrade our skills and instead of lamenting when it will end try to find innovative ways to engage our students.
Yes. I agree with you too. The world of the future is a world of the unseen and the unexperienced. We must move with all our might to acquire (endless) knowledge. This knowledge draws us to itself. We have to reach it in the same education and research classes. Pandemics are part of the same way. Crossing the Corona pandemic will be done with the same science and knowledge. The university and its current course will undoubtedly change. Costs will be reduced. Restrictions will be reduced. We will find a way to do it with each other's participation ...
I agree with Enoch @Osei-Assumeng that Pandemic has badly affected educational institutes, faculty and students as well. Like Ghana we are also using LMS(Leaning management system) for online teaching learning process. However, it is not useful like face-face delivering of lectures or physically presence in labs. The scholars/faculty may or may not agree with me but it is fact that we will not be able to achieve our goals through online learning. Mere Speeches or attending meetings online will bring some fruitful results, however in terms of online education we will miss much of concepts/ideas or clarification etc. Even when we use multimedia in classroom, it make effective by our physical presence. we can not expect that what will be solution to regain our previous mode of education.
In my opinion, it is necessary that the educational systems of the world have entered a new stage of the structure and process of education, which will be one of the new inventions. Because the world needs education. We will try to draw this new method. I hope it has good results.
