A quantitative study on Telecom and Banking sectors using SEM-AMOS. Do I need the same no of tests on each sector for comparison? Where 4 firms are in Telecom and 4 firms are in Banks. For further understanding please share some study.
If you are taking panel data of these two sectors then you should opt for STATA or eviews for panel data analysis. It will includes fixed effect or random effect models. After panel data analysis, the author should run diagnostic tests in order to validate the analysis. After that, you will be able to compare both sectors.
Sampling is important and normally you need a representative sample. 4 firms in 2 sector but unit of analysis is managers? Need to know at what level and by activity? Managers is a general term. Preferably same number in the 4 firms.

Total 8 ( 4 in telecoms and 4 in banking ) firms. Unit of analysis is manager ( who has atleast one person working under him ). And level is, you know each firm has different designation of managers but most common are project manager, general manager, operation manager, engineer etc. should be in study.
