I am doing a thesis on spiral pumps, I need some articles, literature reviews on the water flow inside the spiral pump. I need to develop a simulation for the number of turns of the spiral pump with respect to the coordinate axis. I need find out the length of the water, pressure and volumes inside the spiral pump for each turn.

If a spiral pump rotates on the speed of the river, then in the first turn or rotation it will fill the 50% water in the first coil or column. In the second turn or rotation, first column of water goes to second column and again it lift the water in the first column as well. Same process is repeated for 3rd, 4th, 5th...... nth turn or rotation. My thesis is about create a numerical simulation for n turns of the spiral pump. I need to find out the length of the water inside the pump for every turn and measure the pressure's and volume's at different columns

Anyone can help with this
