Hellow everyone,
I'm a little bit confused about the Number of Frames & Frame Length in bits of Spartan 6.
I know that the size depend on the device (LX4,9 etc) but I can't find the length in terms of bits.
According to the documentation provided by Xilinx user guide (UG380) page: 88, the frame length is the frame length of I/O.
I don't know how to interpret that.
In the documentation of the other fpga like spartan-3, etc. there is the length in terms of bits but not here.
I am enclosing the xilinx provided user guide of spartan-6 herewith for your reference.....

Check : The actual value written to FLR = Actual Frame Length.
Word Count = (Total Number of Frames + 1 Dummy Frame) x Actual Frame Length
