Dear Colleagues,

I am working on a project and need night light data for the city of Mashhad. I have searched on the internet and found that I could use the earth observatory website via this link: https://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/features/NightLights

Then, I downloaded the 2016 data of night light made available by NASA.

When tried to use the raster dataset in ArcMap I noticed that it was a multiband raster dataset (actually had three bands in RGB format).

My problem is that I do not know what these colours show and how can I combine or use them as a proxy for the night light?
