The three-body problem, in physics and astronomy, describes the motion of three celestial bodies interacting gravitationally. It's a famously complex and chaotic system, often leading to unstable orbits and unpredictable behavior. Unlike the two-body problem, which has a simple, predictable solution, the three-body problem generally lacks a closed-form solution and exhibits chaotic dynamics.

Reginald B. Little (RBL) gives more details for his proposed mechanism of volcanic, earthquake and atmospheric weather anomalies due to moon's motion and motions of earth and other planets relative to the sun. RBL already noted that the moon relativistically focuses gravities of the sun, and other planets on the surface of the earth as the moon intervenes the terrestrial horizon between the earth and other planets and/or sun. RBL notes here more details of such gravitational lunar focusing of sun and/or other planets gravities on the earth's surface and the consequent dynamics. By doing so Reginald B. Little presents a new theory to solve the three-body problem in physics and astronomy whereby such triples of massive bodies in mutual gravitational fields manifest complex and chaotic dynamics. The interactions of two massive gravitational interacting bodies manifest order and less complex dynamics. But the interactions of three massive bodies exhibit such complex and chaotic dynamics. RBL proposes here on Aug 4, 2025 (on eve of Earth spinning faster again on Aug 5, 2025) that the three body interaction of Earth, moon, and Mars on July 29, 2025 as the moon approached occultation of Mars relative to Earth caused a perturbation of the Sun's dominating gravity due to the proximity and close distance of the three bodies (Earth, moon and Mars) for momentary three body gravitational complexity and chaos. RBL reasons this on basis of: 1) the finite speed but superluminosity of gravity; 2) the greater distance of the sun from earth, Moon and Mars relative to their mutual distances; 3) the inverse square of the gravitational field with distance between masses of Newton for particle basis of gravity; and 4) the relativistic curvature of space for action of gravity from wave perspective. On such basis, RBL gives new mechanism that the motions of the Earth, moon and Mars led to occultation of Mars by moon relative to earth on July 29, 2025 for increased 3 body perturbation of the three (Earth, moon and Mars) for gravitationally induced instability, chaos and complex motions of Moon, Earth and Mars on July 29, 2025. RBL further by his theory here notes that such resulting instability, chaos and complexity of global dynamics of Earth, moon and Mars on July 29, 2025 (and other times when such proximities occurred or will occur) was by mechanism given here by RBL dampened by local internal fluctuations of fluids in the three bodies (Earth, moon and Mars). The moon lacks significant internal fluid phase, so it is a hard body (soild). Mars has thin atmosphere and is thought to have internal liquid within its crust. The Earth has much larger internal fluid phases by the thick Earth's atmosphere (air), hydrosphere (ocean) and lithosphere (liquid outer core). RBL here further demonstrates the focusing of gravity by the moon due to the greater fluidity and compressibility within the Earth relative to the moon and Mars during such three body gravitational chaotic perturbation as on July 29, 2025. RBL here solves the three body mystery here while simultaneously solving the mystery of earthquakes and volcanoes and unusual weather patterns on the Earth by discovering that the instability caused by the chaos of the 3 body gravitational interaction is dampened and suppressed from disorder due to internal fluctuations and energy transfer in the internal fluid phases of the three bodies. In case of the three body gravitational chaos on July 29, 2025 between Earth, moon and Mars, the Earth has greater internal fluid matter so the global gravitational chaos and complexity induced energy transfer inside the Earth with slight local distortion's of Earth's atmosphere, ocean and liquid mantle. RBL here gives theory to explain and predict the huge earthquake on July 29, 2025 by his theory of three body gravitational complex chaotic dynamics internalized within Earth to such earthquakes and volcanoes; moreover RBL gives a solution to the mystery of three body gravitational celestial instability remaining stable by RBL's introduction of internal dynamics by fluidity and compressibility for dampening the instability for possible stability in some such system.
