So we can see, that there's is a clear need for classical journalism in the research process.

New media has a lot of impact on Old media. not only impact its becoming the integrated part of old media. the New media is affecting the news gathering techniques. the sources of news has been widened. the Reporter can get idea from digital media for any new story. moreover through New Media the common citizens are now becoming more participative in nature. From collection of news to publication all depends on New media. Even the feedback is becoming more active part in newspapers and T.v. From tweets to Facebook status all are considered as letters to editor in one form.

Geeta thank you very much for your masterpiece essay. Iam sure that you are great researcher in social science. But i hope that we have time and common effort to create scientific tool to measure new media impact on old media. therefore alot of theoritical sources in this area but there is not any tool has ability to anticipate this impact and give us its degree.

it is believed that future for new media and i think that old media at the near time viewers will through it away, yes old media will entirely disappear.

then we will have new forms mixed from old media and new media but we can not call it old media.

The question by Prof. Stephanie has a great relevance, for, even psicologically, it may seem that old media brings "trustier" news than "new" media. We do use to believe much more in what is on paper than in electronic means, which have, however, the real time caption of facts. And, in the other hand, it is possible manipulation through "old means" - in the field of cinematographic fiction, the phrase of the journal editor in John Ford's "The man who shot Liberty Valance" ("when the legend becomes fact, we publish the legend") illustrates something that really happened, even in the wild west - and true information through new means. As well as source of the news, old media still marks the limits of public discussion - the famous concept of "agenda setting" -.
