I was wondering why OJIP test named as OJIP test? All I can understand is that "O" state stands for open state where all plastoquinones are in relaxed form (oxidised form) and "P" state when fluorescence is at peak means all plastoquinones are reduced and give maximum fluorescence values. What are intermediate stages named after?
