The form of the transfer function is C(1)*(1-C(2)^(t-T+1))/(1-C(2)). The estimate of C(2) is negative instead of positive. This creates a problem.
I have not seen it explode before. It has worked in many instances before without exploding. I have achieved good results for seven instances. However when C(2) is negative, the function is not well-behaved and the results are not good enough.
