I am using Co3O4 as Catalyst for Li-air battery. 1st discharge is aroung 1.4mAh but 2nd discharge is cut to more than half. I dont understand the reason. Please can anyone give me where I am going wrong
You could be running out of O2 ? You need to devise your experiment setup with a reference cell without catalyst.

What is the optimum atm pressure to be kept through out the experiment..?
There is nothing like standard O2 pressure.. it can vary anywhere from 0.5 to even 25 Atm.. depends on your system.. read this excellent paper on diffusion kinetics in Liair batteries:

Maybe better do a FTIR analysis for finding any dissolution and poisoning of electrolyte due to Co
Sir, If the O2 pressure during 1st discharge(~1atm) is more as compare to that of 2nd Discharge(~0.75atm), will there be a change in the capacity. How will this effect the capacity. .?
