There was widespread social discontent/protest in the UK in 2016 after Brexit/2016 and in the USA after Trump/2016 after their exism movements won the democratic contest under effective targeted chaos.
The same has happened in other countries where liberal democracies under majority rule have produced an extreme democratic outcome since 2016, the latest case is ARGENTINEXISM/2023.
And this raises the question: Murphy's law remorse and widespread social protest/discontent after exism movements/extreme democratic outcomes come in to power: Are they linked?.

I think you may have an interesting social science question here about failures in democratic systems to translate public discontent with specific harms of globalism into policies that address the root causes, so please improve your question, first. I know what Murphy's Law is but don't know what you mean by "Murphy's Law Remorse" and I also worry that you are just trying to use your question to score ideological points rather than to analyze underlying phenomena in either how "democratic" systems aren't really democratic or how civic education fails or how globalization has built-in failures (you can see some of my pieces on ResearchGate on how globalization leads to unsustainability and breakdown). You might want to focus on specific groups behind the "exit" /anti-globalization movements and their specific problems and expectations and why political systems are rigged or self-destructive in ways that fail to meet the needs of those groups (you can also see my pieces on cultural "suicide" on ResearchGate). These would be welcome discussion questions.

Since before 2016 Brexit and USEXIT I was thinking about how to capture the role of efficient targeted chaos to produce or to transform an expected normal democratic outcome(one that reflects the view of the true majority) into an extreme democratic outcome(one that reflects the view of the true minority), and the after the fact social protest/discontent that take place soon after the extreme democratic outcome is announced formally as the winner of the majority rule based democratic contest....
