I need to design an antenna on cst the design below, I need to generate 3 bands below -10db
( band1=[1,7GHz-1,8GHz] band2=[2,2GHz-2,4GHz] band3=[4GHz-4,5GHz] ).
I increased the length to shift the frequencies at the required position but its shifting very slowly.
and i have another problem which is that im obtaining only 2 bands as shown in the picture below. Is there any way to get a third band ?
To shift the resonant frequency to the lowest frequencies, you can use a substrate material of high permittivity.
To achieve a third band, you can try to introduce a slot in the ground plane.
Abdenasser Lamkaddem thank you for your help. Well i have tried to drastically change the dimensions of the antenna and it kind of worked but I still need one band at [2.2-2.4GHz].
Is there any way to shift the 3.4 and 4.75 resonant frequencies to 2.3 and 4.25 respectively without ruining the whole graph? and one more question do u think that the new dimensions are unrealistic?
The resonant frequencies depend on the lengths L1, L2, L3, and L4. Increase these lengths will decrease the resonant frequencies. Moreover, your slots are similar to U-slots which they should have dimension around lambda/2. If increasing the permittivity of the substrate is not an option for you. You can work with meander lines as attached
