Hello.

Recently I'm working on simple immunologic studies.

However, I have no person who can teach me about immunology techniques I want to ask here two questions.

#1

I read papers where the authors injected their vaccines into mice and they injected subcutaneously into the base of tail.

I also want to try this but I don't know where it is exactly.

When I inject at tail base, my syringe is located at tail side and needle is toward head. This way, when I put needle subcutaneously, the tip of the needle is quite apart from the very end of tail base. Is it okay for immunization?

Any kind of image would be super helpful to make me understood.

At the same time, I'm also struggling to remove lymph nodes from mice. I could isolate inguinal lymph nodes quite easily but it is not very simple to find axillary lymph nodes. Sometimes, I don't know if I am isolating axillary or brachial nodes. Do you have any know-how to find and remove axillary lymph nodes?

Thank you for your helps!
