I like this passage in my book titled "Everything that happens in the "head" of cells and microorganisms. Do cells and microorganisms have a “brain”?” in which I compare human "intelligence" to that of cells and microorganisms.
This passage is as follows: "The majority of the inventions of the human being are not the fruit of his intelligence, but rather of a late reproduction, voluntary or not, of what already exists in nature and in other living organisms".

I agree with you on what you gave as examples of the cognitive capacities of human intelligence such as reasoning, problem solving, creativity, precisely, these capacities served me to demonstrate the presence of a certain form of “intelligence” in the cells of living organisms and in particular microorganisms and these capacities are found in these cells.
On the other hand, I do not completely agree with you on the fact that innovation cannot be directly observed in cells and microorganisms, for me it is very present in their life, I even devoted this innovation in microorganisms a chapter in which I compared the importance of innovation in companies with the importance of innovation in microorganisms.
Regarding communication skills (which is part of intelligence for specialists, that is to say, the more we manage to communicate and the more intelligent we are), microorganisms even manage to communicate and establish a conversation and a relationship with different organisms such as plants, which is not possible for humans.
