I am planning to conduct a disease tolerance experiment on 10 potato varieties. Two of these varieties are local and have shown superior tolerance to various diseases compared to the other varieties. I want to understand the genetic basis of their tolerance. I have already completed the phenotypic experiments. I have been informed that a GWAS may not be feasible due to my small sample size (10 varieties). Neither via AMR because I am not focused for one pathogen. Could anyone please advise me on alternative approaches? Thank you.
