Normal filtration followed by drying (air/ hot air oven) gives us solid product. Yes , i prepared nanoparticles by this method as a part of my research.
Actually i have prepared through the ionic gelation but i am getting a colloidal dispersion i think i can not go for filteration as per the literature the works has been done by freez drying
Ionic gelation i have used using stpp as the ionic compound in the solution state i am getting nano particles but not in solid i am getting in colloidal dispersion i am facing problem since i require a freez dryer
u can do SEM's for your samples from instituitions like IICT. i did the same....we have some universities and companies where lyophilization facility is there like JNTU..
Yeah try for IICT s and CCMB in hyd for SEM.....Lyophilization facilities are also available in universities like Manipal...also check for any ICMR regional branches. They also may have lyophilizers.
High speed homogenisation is the recent technique provided u can control the speed of it.And i dont think v can get tnano size by Spray drynig since it gives only micro particles size range as far as i know.....!
IICT takes samples from outsiders..u need to pay in the form of DD..500-600/- per sample. Even I used chitosan, but I didn't understand your last post..what is your work exactly?
