I am looking for a method to quantify the EPS content of a soil sample. Does anyone know any other method than CER (Redmile-Gordon et al. 2014)? I am looking for a method to obtain the EPS content in soil without isolating pure bacterial cultures.

Abhishek Mukherjee Thank you. I have read this article before. Unfortunately, I do not have the conditions for the CER method. The WAEP method is not recommended by the authors themselves. And to EEG/GRSP I have doubts. I am looking for alternative methods :)
