Hi Folks! I have three shapefiles, which are 11W, 11O showing the ditches in my study area, Export_peilenbeheerkaart_20200707 representing polygons with the same groundwater level. I must calculate each ditch length (it is not in the attribute table of 11W and 11O) within those specific polygons. Then I must take the average of the length of ditches in each polygon, next divide the area of the each polygon to those calculated average ditch lengths in the related polygon. That is why I have merged the two different ditches shapefiles (11W and 11O). Then, intersect this output with the Export_peilenbeheerkaart_20200707 to see the ditches with their lengths in each polygon. Now I have an attribute table with each ditch length. In each polygon in Export_peilenbeheerkaart_20200707, there are a lot of ditches. That is why in the attribute table, I must merge the polygons with the same ID to see the average length of the ditches in each polygon. Then, I will use the formula to calculate the conductance with the add and calculate field tools. However, since there are 1833 polygons in Export_peilenbeheerkaart_20200707 file, I must do a “merge” transaction 1833 times. Is there another way that I can follow?
