What does the part inside square bracket[0000-1111-2222-3333] mean?
Recently i was writing a paper and the format had the above line. I didn't understand what does the part inside [ ] meant. However i do know the meaning of 1 (superscript outside bracket) .
This is your ORCID identifier. You can register at the ORCID website: https://orcid.org, and you will be allocated an ORCID number. This has various uses which are explained in the website. Some journals require your ORCID number when publishing your work.
