MA Dance Pilot Study, how to do it?

Hi all, I am looking at doing a qualitative pilot study as part of my MA, I have already presented a Research poster and using the aims and objectives towards my study, I shall be going to visit a dance company who many have people in with physical disabilities and been allowed to do observations and interviews, because I have not done a Pilot study or anything similar before has anyone got any good books or publications you can recommend for me to read in order to produce this? It is all new to me!
