Dear All,

I have been in search of technologies that have developed ways to significantly reduce size of transformer for the same KVA output. Increasing frequency of transformer voltage has the drawback of increased transformer losses due to hysteresis and eddy current losses. Metglas transformer cores however have significantly reduced transformer losses.

I have studied the patent attached herewith and rather find the theory of the invention contrary to known transformer performance.

The patent claims that one can get a secondary voltage of up to 20 times the primary voltage, even when the primary and secondary turns are about the same. This directly implies that physical size of transformer can decrease by the same proportion or KVA rating can increase similarly by the same ratio.

I am sharing the document with you for your kind analysis and perhaps share your thoughts on how this indeed can be realized.

Thank you and Kind Regards

Engr. Amaechina ThankGod
