Which of the following Kroger-Vink notations describe more accurately the interaction of the p-type Mn3O4 with the NO2 at room temperature?

1) NO2(g) + MnxMn + 2e- --> NO2- + MnoMn

2) NO2(g) + MnxMn + e- + VO0oo --> NO2- + MnoMn

3) NO2(g) + MnxMn + 2V0oo --> NO2- + MnoMn

according to your opinion which are more correct, if there are actually correct? (Note: All the equations are balanced at 44electrons)

Thank you in advance for your opinion

Ioannis
