As the title suggests, I'm looking for references for radish foliar mineral nutrients. I have an experiment in which I have the foliar concentration of N, P, K, Ca, Mg, Cu, Zn, and B. I would like to find the deficiencies limits and excess limits for those nutriments in order to confirm which of my treatment is best suited for that crop.
There are two tables for Radish leaves/petioles in Bryson et al 2014 Plant Analysis Handbook III.(Micro-Macro Publishing).
There may be data in Reuter D R and Robinson J. B (1997) Plant analysis: an interpretation manual (2nd edition). CSIRO Publishing.
Radishes are part of the Brassicaceae, so data from other leafy vegetables in the family may be of assistance as well (collards, kale, etc).
Before you venture into such experiment , please give a thought to consider , which is the high yielding reddish field , take soil and leaf samples , tentatively fix the soil test values and leaf nutrients value as optimum values to begin with and have some first hand information about reddish grown in field of your region. Always keep in mind , nutrient response in any plant is hugely dependent upon the soil fertility constraints with respect to a given crop , not necessarily , reddish will respond to all of these applied nutrients.
