We are researching the recepter of Bt toxin in Aedes aegypti, and I would like to know if anyone can provide the cell line of Aedes aegypti (eg. Aeg 2), or tell me where and how can I get it.
ATCC is largest collection centre for cell lines etc.
I did not find this cell line on the website of ATCC, but I find an article has mentioned this cell line before, how should I do? Mail the author?
probably yes but also contact the ATCC as well
Well this maybe not the specific thing you're looking at but I think this paper might be of your interest.

I think you can contact with with UM ( UNIVERSITY MALAYO -Pharmacy school or center for dengue research or Prof Sazaly
Cell 6/36
yes right, but because others use this cells for test some toxins when they talk about dengue mosquito Ae. aegypti
If you don't get Ae aegypti cells . I think no more different between Ae. aegypti cells and Ae. albopictus. so you can use Ae. albopictus cells.
Thank you, Salah Gurbel. We have the cell C6/36 now, but I think If we have the Aag2, that would be better~
Hi Jason Rasgon, who is ann? How can I connect with him?
thank you Heverton Dutra, the big problem now is how to pass the customs T_T。。。
thanks again, Jason~
Hi Songqing,
I was wondering if you managed to get Aag-2 cell lines.
I am also in the need of Aag-2 cell lines. I would appreciate if you can share that with me or tell me the source.
Thanks,
