My experiment requires a two-section capacitor that has a high K in one section and a low K in another section. The same high voltage (30kv or so) will be across both sections. I have searched and searched for a powder that will likely bond well at the BaTiO3 interface during sintering, but have not been successful. Other titanates all seem to have relatively high K values. The ratio of high-K to low-K is important for the experiment - a ratio of 10-100 would be nice.
Does anyone know of such a low-K, high breakdown voltage powder? Or maybe I can mix something into BaTiO3 to reduce it's K by a factor of 100 without destroying its dielectric strength? Thank you.
