We are doing a qualitative longitudinal study on people we interviewed 20 years ago, on their recovery from severe mental illness. We are looking for colleges that might be doing similar studies to discuss methodology, life course perspectives and results.

But we didn’t conduct qualitative interviews at baseline.
Such an interesting methodological approach that is likely to produce important insights! But how did you ensure the possibility of contacting participants after all this time - did you plan for this and ensured ethical approval and consent for storing contact information and contacting this many years later?
Hello! We have been working on a 10 year study on long-term recovery since 2012, with biweekly contact. I have been responsible for following 150 of the participants. happy to discuss retention strategies, very interesting topic!
