I want to know what is the long and short depletion region effect in semiconductor base photocatalysis? Like in conventional semiconductors it is um thick usually while in ferroelectrics base pervoskite like ABO3 it is reported as 1- 2 nm thick. So i want to get deep understanding how this depletion region could be effective in short length and why it is shorter in ferroelectrics while longer in conventional semiconductors? I need details explanation and literature is also better to share but if someone could explain that will also highly appreciated.
