Can anyone point me to articles on the study of how tones found in languages related to the brain, especially in comparison with music?
Here's a few. Most of these don't touch on music, although I think such papers definitely exist (it's a popular topic) I just can't think of them off the top of my head. (Gu et al. 2013 may be somewhat related)
