We recently purchased a Lenti hTERT vector (LVP1130-Bsd-PBS) from GenTarget Inc. and used to immortalize certain human neonatal tissue derived cells. We are now trying to map the integration site(s) of this vector in the cells. Unfortunately, the vendor is not providing us with the vector sequence to design appropriate primers. Has anyone here any sequence information about this vector? Could I just prepare plasmid DNA from the pseudoviral particle we purchased, transfect in E.coli, grow large amounts of plasmid and use it to sequence it myself?
