What is the average time you are having your publications sit in OnlineFirst before it is officially published? I realise it is intended to speed up access to research, but with Scopus not indexing papers until they receive a volume, and issue number (another question, starting with 'why'), it doesn't do you any favours to be online only for long. I'd love to get a sense of what is reasonable and if there are some journals that take longer than others.

To get things started: I have one paper that has been in OnlineFirst for almost two years.
