I am working on Land surface temperature for the first time using Split Window Algorithm.
The algorithm mentioned in a research paper is:
LST =TB10 + C1(TB10-TB11)+C2 (TB10- TB11)2+ C0 + (C3+C4W) (1- ε) + (C5+C6W) Δε
i am having difficulty in calculating:-
1) W – Atmospheric water vapor content, how is this calculated?
Also,
2) WHILE CALCULATING, Δε – Difference in LSE
First, i calculated the Land surface emissivity(LSE) for band 10 and band 11, it ranged from 0.95-0.99 in both bands. SO, when I found the difference in LSE of band 10and band 11, I got a null value black tiff image because the emissivity range is almost the same.
If someone could tell me where am i going wrong. It would be a great help.
