I have paid the sum of 280 USD to International Journal of Applied Engineering Research (IJAER)ISSN: 09734562 for paper publication in a journal before I discovered the Journal is no longer indexed by Scopus...This is because their name still appear conspicuously in Scopus indexed list despite being removed even on the Journal's website to all unsuspecting researchers. I requested for refund and withdrawal of my paper but they declined claiming payment is non refundable.....Pls kindly advise or link me up with authorities who can take this issue up.....The Journal is domiciled in India with the following address;

Kindly turn down the payment. Two of my manuscripts were accepted around April 2018 and I got to know that the journal is no longer listed in Scopus and therefore I immediately wrote them for withdrawal. The withdrawal was granted and the said manuscripts were resubmitted to another Scopus listed and had been published
Indian journals are more of business oriented ventures. What I do not know is whether any authority oversee the affairs of these journal Operations besides the editorial / reviewers board. You could write the editor in chief but I'm afraid you get same response.
