The question raised by you points to a broader problem that the industry and other stakeholders face due to lack of information on regulatory developments and standards.

I will focus on this broader problem in my reply. The way forward plan may include -

(i) At international level the stakeholders need to identify the sectoral specialized agency responsible for development of technical standards (example International Telecommunication Union).

(ii) A national level web portal to provide a single-window access to information and services that are electronically delivered from all Government Departments (somewhat similar to india.gov.in in case of India). The national level web portal may have information on sector specific international bodies and national regulatory institutions engaged in regulatory developments and standards.

(iii) Adoption of RegTech is the potent strategy which may reduce the information asymmetry between regulatory institutions and the industry/other stakeholders.
