As part, of the IVD kit, Streptavidin coated plates, K2-MAb conjugated to Biotin, K2-MAb binds to the sample analyte (capture antibody) after wash, detection MAb, HRP conjugated IgG binds to the sample analyte.

What is the significance of K2-MAb? is it just the clone name.

According to search engine K2 is an anti-dsRNA monoclonal antibody. I guess this must be a different thing?
