I am very new in research area and I haven't any publication yet.
My research area is Corporate Governance.
Any recommendation about which journal would be good to publish for the first time ?
That takes less time to accept/publish?
Hello Nabila, I would like to share my opinion on publication:
1) Search journals having aim/area/scope of finance + corporate + governance. List out few journals with low impact factor (for a beginner low impact score journals are a must go).
2) Based on the journal scope and demand write a paper, the flow of the paper should meet the requirements of the journal. What I meant here was just like water shape your article in such a manner that it fits the journal's and editor's vision for what they are expecting, even though you have less chances you may be asked for improvisations after a review.
3) Trial and error: You've to create at least 5 papers which has different content sent to 5 different journals. If at all few of them are rejected we can improvise based on the rejection comments and simultaneously still hope for the others to get a positive response.
4) Patience is the important aspect of this process, you may feel down or feel hopeless but this is normal so be hopeful and wait.
5) Finally, there is another way of getting things done is to pay and publish. There are numerous journals which charge an APC (article publishing charges) and get your articles published.
