ECODESIGN AND RUBBER INNOVATIONS

AFICEP, under the aegis of IRCO, the International Rubber Conference Organization, has been awarded the organization of the future RubberCon 2026. This international conference will be held in Paris in the spring of 2026. Following the work of the Scientific Committee, the main theme of this RubberCon will be « Ecodesign and Rubber Innovation ».

Three sub-themes are proposed for this congress: eco-designed materials, durability and energy efficiency.

THEME 1: ECO-DESIGNED MATERIALS

Raw Materials

Bio-sourced materials Natural fillers and reinforcements Antioxidants / Stabilizers / Cross-linking agents / Blowing agents Green solvents and plasticizers TPV

Guide to choice / Impact assessment Toxicology

Life Cycle Analysis Waste collecting and sorting Environmental impact

Innovative approaches

Recycled materials Surface treatment Disassembly Self-healing, dynamic and reversible chemistry Performance management

THEME 2: DURABILITY

Degradation mechanisms

Thermal, radiative and photochemical ageing Biodegradation Fatigue

Experimental methods and law of behavior

Analytical methods End-of-life prediction Performance monitoring and improvement Failure detection

Fate of degraded products Status of aged materials Eco-toxicity of degradation products Microparticles Consequence on health and environment Devulcanization methods and industrial processes

New application challenges
