I'd like to know how could we measure the displacement of atoms in metals and ceramics during displacive transformation?

EXAFS in its various modes is an x-ray technique for determination of bond lengths. Due to the 'free' choice of absorption edge you are able to choose the type of the centre atoms.

Temperature dependent X-ray diffraction is one of the technique to measure that displacement. you must know your transition temperature. By Rietveld refinement you can fit your data. At different temperature you can compare the different bond angle and bond length.
