I well know the construction sector, even if quite different in Malaysia. Can you tell me for whom do you want to look at the absorptive capacity in construction?
I conceptualized (actually PhD canditdate) a new and quite different model of acap mainly based on the three seminal papers of Cohen & Levinthal. If it may be usefull for your project I can share it and send a pdf of a presentation I did last year at the Canadian Knowledge mobilization Forum.

Thanks for your responded the question. I am looking for implementing of absorptive capacity in Small Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in term of construction industry. I am glad to get some source of absorptive capacity model in SMEs construction industry even in others country.
