i have done an ITC with a DNA binding drug Ellipticine and (GC)4 sequence at diff. temperatures. i can obtain the van't hoff enthalpy from this data. texts suggest that a comparison of this van't hoff enthalpy with experimental enthalpy yields information about nature of the binding process. which experimental enthalpy is to be compared? and how far is this reliable.
