Could you please share any information you might have about https://vaccine-congress.org/. I've been invited to present my research data at their conference, and I'd appreciate any input.
Your intuition was right, there are many questions to ask in this case. Using their contact info I found that it is clear that they are linked to “Innovinc” https://innovinc.org/Current-Conference see for some of the reasons to question them for example https://www.researchgate.net/post/IFHN-2024_Prague_Czech_Republic_is_this_a_real_conference
But even if you are not aware of the poor reputation of the organization behind this congress, there are numerous red flags:
-The contact info ( https://vaccine-congress.org/contactus ) is at best a virtual office, compare this with a genuine congress like for example https://www.terrapinn.com/conference/world-vaccine-congress-washington/contact-us.stm
-The photo’s used for the scientific committee (https://vaccine-congress.org ) are of poor quality, compare this with https://www.terrapinn.com/conference/world-vaccine-congress-washington/index.stm
-Looking at the scientific committee they mention an 83-year-old Dr. Don Berry https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Don_Berry_(statistician) a big name indeed but a 100% sure he is not involved with these people. They also mention someone who is a RG member https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Brandon-Lucke-Wold would be interesting to see if he is aware of these people who misleadingly use his name. The same is true for https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Susu-Zughaier
Furthermore, I see the mentioning of hybrid (which is in the situation where COVID is finally gone an option that is or should be no longer relevant) as disturbing since I read here that it is not unusual that at the last moment everything becomes virtual. I think that at best the whole thing takes place, but I think it will be a small audience with a broad diversity in terms of background and field of expertise to make it really relevant (for exchanging knowledge and possible networking).
